Mile 148 - 180 North side of Table Mountains to Idyllwild

Mile 148 - 180 North side of Table Mountains to Idyllwild

Made it to the Paradise cafe. Big old US Breakfast. Hitched lift with Jim to Idyllwild. Lovely woman named Janice picked us up who works at the Western store. Stayed at San Jacinto State Park campsite. Only £3 for hikers or bikers! Hot showers .

Idyllwild is the perfect hiker town.
Cute little stores and cafes against a great granite mountain backdrop. Everything is within walking distance, super friendly locals, live music, hiking supply store, health food market and three-dollar margaritas. Everything you need and something for everybody. Whether its Grandpas Jerky or Mary Lou's Muffins your needs will be met.

Tracy got finally got the latte of her dreams at the coffee house. Bumped into old pct pals Erin and Brett and made new friends at campsite. Steaks and beers at JoAnn's. You gotta try Idyllwild.
