The mosquitos made for a latish but quick getaway. Up over three passes today in over 90 degree heat. Lots of river crossings where we had to take our shoes off. The coldness felt great but it inevitably cost a few more mosquito bites. We were actually able to swim at one crossing as for some reason the mosquitos were at normal, and not feasting frenzy level. Some beautiful lakes and sites today, couldn't stop long to take pictures though or would be bitten. Had dinner on large flat rocks then walked another couple of miles.
Had to physically run from a distance to get in tent to avoid bringing in 50 mosquitos in with us.
