Mile 2040-2063 Russell Creek to Lemiti Meadows Campsite

We woke up to a dry tent in our cosy forest campsite. We then had a four mile climb before having breakfast at the top at a spot overlooking mount Jefferson. Lighthouse my young Scottish compatriot joined us. He warned us "Never Resupply (food) while drunk" as he pulled cake icing and glass jars of liquid biscuit dough out of his bag. 

The morning hike was stunning. Great mountain views, fab clouds and lots and lots of lakes. We got to Ollalie resort for lunch where there was a small store. We bought a beer and chips and sat in the front porch and talked to other hikers as they came in. 

The afternoon hike was mostly through forest again. After a further 9 miles we reached our goal for the day and a campground complete with creek and wooden table. Had a good laugh with Katie our "fireball" while making dinner.
