Mile 2468-2475 Mig Lake to Stevens Pass

It rained all night. We decided last night that since we only had 7 miles to Stevens Pass, we'd sleep in. We kind of hoped the rain would stop before we got up, but no. So we packed up our wet tent and left camp wearing our new rain ponchos at 8:30am. 

Got into Stevens Pass and went straight to the cafe at the ski resort and ordered cheese burgers and fries. Drop Bizkut and Acid glasses were there and were drying out their tents on the balcony. We did the same. We plugged into wifi and checked the weather..... 90% chance of rain tomorrow... We needed to collect our resupply at the Dinsmore's a 20 mile hitch away, but we'd have to camp there in the rain. Or we could hitch to Leavenworth or Skykomish and get a hotel.

We ended up hitching to the little town of Baring and picked up our boxes. I got a new backpack from Gregory! Yeehaa. Saw Lighthouse, Fun size, Sneaks, Coincidence, Horny Toad, Sunrise and others. Bought great huckleberry and mountain blackberry ice cream at the fabulous local store.
