Mile 2155-2168 Cascade Locks to unnamed campsite

We spent two nights at the lovely Best Western. The second day was Booboo Kitty's birthday so we went to the only restaurant open to celebrate. Kazuyo saw us at the window as she walked into town and joined us. Katie, Dan Tracy and I had a pretty relaxed day, watched a movie, dinner then back to the hotel for a Rainier beer before bed. Today we did all the last minute preparation before check out and finally walked across the Bridge of Gods into Washington. The woman at the toll box on the bridge was just as excited for us as we were.
Walked pretty much uphill all the way to our campsite. For some reason Katie walked up front and steamed up the hill. We feel we have been hustled. Kitty Hidden Steel Paws was her name today. Thanks Leesie for sending the resupply boxes!

Hiked that section to Rock Creek in July. What mm did you camp at? I camped at a trail jct after mm 2164. Not much water until a small culvert about 1 mile up on a ridge, after the power lines; then some closer to Rock Creek. 4 mtn view from the "new" growth area: Hood, Adams, Ranier, Helens. PO and bugs not so bad. Wish I could've arranged a return ride from White Pass to hike Goat Rocks.
