Mile 2277-2296 Sheep Lake to Shoe Lake

We started the climb past Goat Rocks and took our first break at Cispus pass with John and then Katy who had camped a mile short last night. The views were great. Met a hiker just after that who said the best views were yet to come. Won't be like the High Sierras I thought, but shiver me timbers he was right. Spectacular views today. Took zillions of photos. Brought the mileage down a lot. I also took a little side excursion down a glacier to see if I could connect with the PCT. Nope. Had to scramble back up, Tracy thought I was lost, oops. Camped at Shoe Lake.
