Today was the first ever rain, not connected with thunder and lightning, on the trail. Our rain gear went on and off throughout the day. It started out overcast and drizzly and we all complained. Then when the sun broke out we were like birds at daybreak, all chirpy and fluttering. We shared a couple of breaks with Lighthouse. For almost the entire day we walked through forest. Lots of moss and fungus. We have definitely said goodbye to dry and hello to wet and damp. Fortunately, we eventually found a couple of fairly flat dry spots to camp at next to beautiful Lake Timothy.
