- gnarly river crossing first thing in the morning. The three of us took different approaches. No room for error as the drop was far and the water fast.
- most of the day in the thick, cool and mossy forest.
- the last break of the day left Mt Hood behind us with a view of Mt Adams, Mt Saint Helen, and Mt Rainer as the sun set for another fabulous day on the trail.
- Dingo and Mudd announce engagement, Mudd proposed on the trail yesterday near the falls after Timberline Lodge. Aww! They are such a great couple. They posed for a reenactment photo below.
- took the Eagle Creek Alternative and found a camp 2 miles before the falls, camping with Katie, Toots Magoots, and Tears for Beers.
