Mile 2253-2277 Killin Creek campsite to Sheep Lake

Beautiful morning view of Mount Adams as we left our campsite. We climbed a little and were then greeted with a great view of Mount Rainier. Had breakfast at Lava spring, apparently the best water in the trail. Talked to Maggie, then John arrived and then Katie and Dan brought up the rear. T and I then took our lunch break in 10 miles at a great mountain overlook. An hour and a half of great relaxation....until all the bees found us. Fortunately, not the yellow jacket/hornets which are out to kill, just your normal flesh eating bee/wasps that I used to think were bad ass until I met the hornets. Katie stopped by and we walked together briefly until the next water. Our goal was to get to Walupt creek and camp. We walked the last couple of miles with Maggie and collected water there. The camp situation  was not so great however. There were a couple of day hikers who weren't overly receptive to a bunch of PCT hikers joining them, they suggested we camp at sheep lake just 0.8 miles further. Even more off-putting was the camp spot Maggie was about to move into... Someone had pooed on the large log next to the campsite and then placed a rock on it!
We've all noticed a lot of toilet roll/obvious poo sites recently. Naughty southern Washington needs a little Leave No Trace education.

T and I found a spot nearby Sheep Lake, no tree cover unfortunately so we'll be soaked in dew but fab view of goat rocks ahead. Maggie, John and Dan joined us. Poor Boo Boos feet were bad, she must have stopped at Wallupt creek.
